Community Health Nursing

The department of community health nursing was established in the year 2003 to with Under Graduate programme. The teaching programme for B.Sc. (N) students will help them to understand the principles and concepts of community health nursing and acquire knowledge & develop professional skills in caring for clients in the community. It is designed to assess the students in developing expertise and in depth knowledge in the field of Community health nursing. It will help the student to appreciate the patients as a holistic individual and develop skill to function as a specialized Community Health Nursing. The department is conducting various medical camps, health programmes to improve the health of poor and needy in the community.
