Child Health Nursing

 Child Health Nursing is a speciality which focus on nursing care of children, both normal and sick. The objective of the course is to prepare students to identify the normal growth and development of children and deviation from the normal, give comprehensive nursing care to children suffering from various diseases. Special emphasis is given to Embryology, Genetics, Psychology, Paediatric medicine, Surgery, Nutrition, and Growth and Development. Child Health Nursing is placed in the third year of the B.Sc. Nursing Curriculum and students are enthusiastically involved in the research activities and various projects.
